Ingredients
4-ounces fresh sushi-grade tuna
2 tablespoon favorite Basic Balsamic or Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette (pg. 51)
1 tablespoon chopped pickled ginger
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/8 teaspoon wasabi (optional)
Pinch of dark sesame seeds
Creamy Balsamic
Balsamic vinegar (dark or white) 1 tablespoon
Honey or sugar substitute ¼ teaspoon
Low-fat Yogurt Spread or Greek Yogurt (pg. 39) 4 tablespoon
Olive oil 1 tablespoon
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Pepper 1/8 teaspoon
Method
Cut tuna into thin slices or dice. Place in a non-reactive bowl. Add vinaigrette, sesame oil and wasabi if desired and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Serve with lettuce leaves to use as wrappers.
