Ingredients
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups dried fruit, unsweetened
  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 cups water
Method
  • Place chilli pepper and cinnamon, rice and olive oil in a pot. Cook at medium high for 30 sseconds to make the spices aromatic. Add salt, broth or water and bring to a boil.
  • As soon as the liquid begins to boil, cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Cook covered for 50 mintues and serve.
