Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup grated bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 pound ground beef, 96% lean
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 2 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • MISSING TERIYAKI SAUCE
Method
  • Mix all the beef ingredients. Add almonds if using them.
  • In another bowl mix the teriyaki sauce ingredients.
  • Place beef in a 9x4x5 classic meat loaf pan. Spread with the teriyaki sauce ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for for 45 min. Regular pan, 30 mins mini pan.
