Ingredients
2 small pitas breads, halved (2 ½ inches)
1 Recipe Yogurt Sesame Sauce (pg. 35) approx. 3 tablespoon
3 oz. smoked tuna (1 package)
¼ cup shredded white cheddar
2 leaves red freckled lettuce or your choice
Ginger Sesame Spread
2 tbsp Plain Yogurt
½ teaspoon minced pickled ginger
1/4 teaspoon dark sesame oil
pinch Salt and pepper
Salt and pepper 1/8 teaspoon
Method
Cut the pitas in half. Toast if desired. Spread each side with Yogurt (Dairy or Vegan) Sesame Sauce.
Arrange tuna, cheese and lettuce over one half, cover place in toaster oven for 2 minutes. Press and serve.
