Increase protein by serving w/ yogurt-tofu
Ingredients
  • 1 slice whole grain nut bread, 30 grams
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoon Plain Yogurt
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch pepper
Method
  • Place egg white, yogurt, salt and pepper in a bowl. (You can beat the egg white to soft peaks first if desired). Mix with a fork to incorporate all ingredients well. Place bread slice onto mix and allow to sit for 2 minutes.
  • Turn, prick with a fork and allow to sit for two minutes more. The bread will have absorbed almost all the mixture.
  • Place bread in a medium heated flat pan, sprayed with olive oil.
  • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned.
  • Cut each slice into 4 triangles. Serve with a small scoop °F goat cheese spread and 2 thin slices °F turkey ham or salami.
