Increase protein by serving w/ yogurt-tofu
Ingredients
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoon oats
  • 2 tablespoons minced raisins
  • 4 tablespoons lightly toasted chopped pecans
  • ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1½ tablespoon oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
Method
  • IDEA! Serve each with 2 slices turkey bacon
  • Place flour, oatmeal, raisins, pecans, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix with a fork.
  • Place egg white, milk and vanilla in another bowl and mix.
  • Pour liquids over solids and mix.
  • Cook on an oil sprayed sauté pan or panini type grill over medium heat. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • Serve with turkey bacon and fruit.
